Affiliate Membership Terms

Obtaining a Master Degree in Plastic Surgery from one of the registered Egyptian Universities or its equivalent approved by the Supreme Council of Universities

A Master Degree in General Surgery + a thesis in Plastic Surgery supervised by at least one Plastic Surgery Professor (ESPRS Member) is accepted for a limited period of time If the degree was obtained before establishing Master Degree in Plastic Surgery in the offering university

Four years experience in  plastic surgery in a hospital accredited by ESPRS

Obtaining 100 ESPRS CME Points of participation in ESPRS various activities for at least one year before applying for membership (proved by attendance certificates with ESPRS CME Points Stamp)

 

Active Membership Terms

Obtaining MD in Plastic surgery from one of the registered Egyptian Universities or its equivalent from the Supreme Council of Universities

Obtaining MD in Plastic Surgery or its equivalent approved by the Supreme Council of Universities

An MD in General Surgery + a thesis in Plastic Surgery supervised by at least one Plastic Surgery Professor (ESPRS Member) is accepted for a limited period of time if the degree was obtained before establishing MD in Plastic Surgery in the offering university

Six years experience in  plastic surgery in a hospital accredited by ESPRS

To be an affiliate associate ESPRS member for at least two years

Obtaining 200 ESPRS CME Points of participation in ESPRS various activities for at least two year before applying for membership (proved by attendance certificates with ESPRS CME Points Stamp)

 

Paperwork

  • Membership application signed by two Senior Active Members (more than 10 years of active membership)

  • Master degree or MD Certificate

  • Thesis front page listing thesis title and thesis supervisors 

  • Certificates from the workplaces or affiliated hospitals for experience in Plastic Surgery

  • Certificates of attendance at seminars and conferences, including ESPRS CME Points

  • Original Documents are presented for verification along with a photocopy for ESPRS files

 

Important Notes

  • Documents are to be submitted to ESPRS General Secretary no later than December, 31st

  • Applications submitted later than  December, 31st will not be accepted

  • Applications will be reviewed and eligible applicants' list will be posted on ESPRS website for ESPRS Members' comments and will be submitted for voting by ESPRS Board of Directors

  • All applicants must receive approval by all members of the Board of Directors before the names are listed to obtain General Assembly approval by a majority

  • Attending the General Assembly is a must, in case of getting an approval, to take ESPRS oath and to sign a commitment to ESPRS code of ethics and ESPRS Bylaws  and payment of ESPRS annual membership fees, otherwise the membership will be postponed for the next General Assembly meeting
